Bread Program

Time Commitment: Once a year ClockClock

This programs picks up bread which would have normally have gone to waste and distributes it to the homeless in our local area, and migrant families in Coachella and the bread is also used to make sandwiches for the prisoners in the Tijuana Jail.

The program volunteers pick up surplus bread and baked goods from local stores and businesses and deliver it to our Bread Shed. From there, representatives from various charities and soup kitchens make regular pick-ups from the shed.

If you are looking for a place to volunteer that won’t take a big time commitment, please consider signing up for this program.  It only takes a few hours a week and it does a tremendous amount of good for the poor in our area.
